The Isaiah Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization chartered in 1984 by a group of Christian people who believe that all children are gifts from God to be loved by all. Our goal continues to be directed toward serving the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the physically dependent child by giving the family an opportunity to occasionally retreat from the heavy obligations of continuous care.

Since these children are life-long dependent upon others for their basic needs of food, shelter, and other daily routine care, many families are faced with the responsibility of providing this love and care for an extended time. The Isaiah Foundation provides the avenue for families to share this accountability by shouldering some of their daily burdens.

Through the generous donations of others and the United Way, the Isaiah Foundation is able to provide training for these relief caregivers and to help subsidize some of the costs of respite care. These highly qualified and trained caregivers are committed to rendering proper care according to the family's desires and direction in the setting of the family home.

The Isaiah Foundation strives to nurture both body and spirit, and to comfort in suffering and disability. By recognizing that the entire family is affected by the problems of children, our goal expands to include professional support to work through difficulties stemming from trauma, abuse, divorce, or death, and to find solutions based on Biblical principles and Christian love. Both the Isaiah Foundation and Child's Play Foundation fund family support through crisis counseling and coordinated care.
